Refund policy

At St.geran, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery. If your purchase isn’t quite right, we offer options for returns and exchanges in line with Australian Consumer Law, while maintaining a policy that ensures fairness to our small business.

Change of Mind Returns

As an online retailer, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, we are happy to provide a store credit or exchange under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Item(s) must be unworn, unused, and in original packaging with tags intact.
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Proof of purchase is required.

We do not accept returns on sale items, earrings (for hygiene reasons), or custom/personalised pieces, unless deemed faulty.

Non-Returnable Items – Hygiene an Wear Exceptions

For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on the following items, unless they are faulty:

  • Earrings (including studs, hoops, and drop styles)
  • Worn or used jewellery, including items that show visible signs of wear, damage, or alteration (e.g. scratches, tarnish, or scent transfer)

Please ensure you are certain of your selection before finalising your purchase, particularly in the case of earrings. We recommend reviewing product details and sizing guides or contacting our team if you have any questions prior to ordering.

Faulty or Damaged Items

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact our customer service team at hello@stgeran.com.au within 48 hours of delivery. You will need to include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the fault
  • A description of the issue

If the item is assessed as faulty (not due to misuse or wear and tear), we will offer a repair, replacement, store credit, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Returns Process

  1. To start a return, you can contact us at hello@stgeran.com.au with your request and reason for return.

  2. Once approved, we will provide return instructions.

  3. Securely repackage the item and return via a tracked postal service.

Please note: St,geran is not responsible for return shipping costs or items lost in transit.

Refunds (If Applicable)

Refunds will only be offered in cases where the item is deemed faulty or significantly different from its description. All other approved returns will be issued as a store credit, valid for 12 months.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

Final Notes

We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet the conditions outlined above.
